A country I'd like to visit

Hi everyone!

Today, like the title says, I’ll write about a country I’d like to visit.

Well, I think I have, at least, one country on each continent I’d love to visit. But if somebody gave me a ticket to go tomorrow anywhere I like, I would choose Greece, because it’s an interesting place, full of mythology and history. You can do a lot of things there. You can go to Athens, and visit the Parthenon or the Acropolis and see the entire city in the night. And the weather is perfect! Because it’s located by the Mediterranean see, there’re a lot of beaches, like the ones in the Scíathos island, one of the best beaches in Greece.

About Greece, I only know what I learnt at school, and some references that my cousin gave me (he already was in Greece, and he told me he have had some amazing time there, he partied a lot and shopped a lot too). If I was there, the first thing I do would be go to the beach, or eat a gyros.

I think I wouldn’t live there, for reasonable ground. The economy there is not in the best place, and the politic neither. But it’s a beautiful place to spend some vacations.

Well, see us next week!

  1. OMG Cami! I also chose Greece for this assignment, but I don't know as much as you about it, not at all! What's a gyros?

  2. Hahaha! we're in a certain form, connected xD do you know what a "shawarma" is? or a "kebap"? or a "doner"? haha, there are almost all the same concept. it's like a bread (can be a "fajita"), you fill it whit meat, that is cooked in a vertical oven, whit some mediterranean vegetables, and whit a sauce, that i really don't know what contents. It's delicious! like a mexican burrito, but not so spicy, whit a mediterranean flavor :)

  3. I love gyros, but I known them by the name of kebab-as you explained above-I didn't know they made them in Greece too, I thought it was Turkish or Pakistani food, they're so delicious...I tried to find them in here, but I haven't seen anything like it...

  4. Greece is a nice place to go to, I'm agree with you, but.... It's not a good idea go there these days.. As you know.. Some politics and economics problems... So, would be better wait a while before going there.

  5. As you said, visiting Greece is a good holiday destination, but because of the economic and social problems, to live or to stay for a long time there could be very difficult, thinking obviously that we don't know what's going to happen in the future about the crisis.
